This morning I popped out of bed at 6:00 eager to get going because I was off to a special session of the Friday Meetups with a Charlotte local fiber artist group - CLTextile. This special early morning meetup was to film for the segment Wilson's World on WCCB Charlotte.
Wilson, who hosts the morning show, chatted with Kathie, who runs the CLTextile group, and Val, who organized Wilson coming to the Friday meetup!
Tattoos and a Biker Gang
Wilson made the joke that to be part of the CLTextile group, which he compared to a biker gang, you have to get a tattoo. Well, I happen to have a needle and thread tattoo! We had a good laugh about that and chatted some about my wall hangings. Check out the whole segment below - my interview starts a little after the five-minute mark!

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wilson found out this morning that knitting, crocheting, weaving, and hand stitching are all still great fiber art when he visited the Fiber Meet Up group this morning at C3 Lab in South End. The group meets the last Friday of each month from 10:30am until 12:30pm at C3 Lab.
